The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) offers basic home support for Australians over 65 (or 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) who wish to remain at home with additional help. This includes household tasks, personal care, respite, transport, and social connections. Government-subsidised, the services are available at a low cost. If your needs become more complex, you can be referred for a Home Care Package. Service providers work with them to maintain their independence and ensure they stay as healthy and well as possible.
Pink Comfort supports CHSP recipients.
